WC Attorney

Mintz Law Firm is a mid-size law firm dedicated to helping injured plaintiffs/claimants obtain the compensation they deserve. We have been doing this for over 40 years. We shoot straight with our clients, and we make ourselves available to them.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in workers compensation cases from start to finish.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts.
  • Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.

Requirements for the Role:

  • Admitted to practice law in Colorado.
  • Minimum of three years of experience practicing workers compensation law.
  • Litigation and hearing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of workers compensation laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.

Personal Injury Paralegal

Denver-metro area law firm seeks a full-time paralegal to support an attorney with a personal injury caseload. Candidates must have at least one year of paralegal experience in personal injury law.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with clients, medical providers, insurance and legal representatives, and administrative agencies/courts.
  • Order medical records and bills.
  • Maintain client files.
  • Draft settlement demands.
  • Some hearing/litigation work (drafting pleadings, drafting mediation statements, responding to discovery, and scheduling conferences, mediations, depositions, and hearings).

Requirements for the Role:

  • At least one year of paralegal experience in personal injury law.
  • Works well with clients and co-workers; team player with a positive attitude and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to use case management software, PDF management software, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Reliable transportation and an excellent attendance record in prior employment.
